The DeckWise Ipe Clip Extreme KD hidden fastener system is the perfect solution to firmly secure grooved profile deck boards or siding while giving the project a clean, modern look.

The ExtemeKD system of products spaces boards at 1/4" and is precisely designed to provide a long lasting performance, and hold down without leaving screw holes in the face surface of boards.

This product is specifically suited to be used with Arbor Wood Hidden Fastener Deck Boards.

This product is also suitable for all kiln-dried hardwood boards and composite decking.

For use with kiln dried hardwood, composite, or PVC decking - they system allows movement (expansions/contraction) along the length and width of the boards.

This system automatically spaces deck boards at 1/4" (6.4mm).

Grooved Arbor Wood deck boards, made to be used with a hidden fastener system require the ordering of the fastener hardware - DeckWise® Ipe Clip® ExtemeKD® - which can be ordered through Go Green Home Supply in 100 and 175 count kits.

In order to purchase the appropriate number of fastener clips, you need to know:
- estimated deck square footage (ex. 344 sqft)
- joist spacing (ex. 16" on center)
- deck board width (ex. 5.5")

Example:
Rough deck dimensions 21.5' x 16' = 344 sqft
16" joist spacing (common)
5.5" deck boards

For this example, the 100 count kit system covers 57 sqft for applications using 5.5" boards and 16" joist spacing.

344 sqft / 57 sqft = ~ 6.03 kits (depending on your overage calculations, 7 kits would be recommended in this example)
