What does the consultation service include?
Our consultation service includes a personalized assessment of your project, recommendations for building materials, and guidance on how to incorporate those healthy and sustainable practices/products into your home design. Whether you are looking for non-toxic interior finishes, eco-friendly insulation, or high-performance wall assemblies, we have you covered.
First, we'll set a meeting time for an introductory discussion with you and/or your build team to outline the project goals and to understand what you hope to get out of this process. We'll ask specific questions about your needs and gather information regarding the details of the site, aesthetics, construction methodology, etc. We'll leave the introductory meeting with a solid understanding of your needs and what specifics you would like Go Green Home Supply to assist with.
Then, once all of the meeting notes and documentation has been gathered and reviewed, Go Green Home Supply will provide a proposal which will summarize the project deliverables and an estimated timeline and cost for the remainder of the consultation service.
Once the proposal is agreed to, you will receive a tailored project booklet. It will include specific building material recommendations for your project, thorough documentation, and quotes for all products involved. It will compare and detail health and sustainability benefits for each recommended product, as well as help you better understand why certain decisions are important for your build.
How much does the consultation service cost?
Our expert consultation services start with the introductory meeting and is available for an up-front flat fee of $1000. This fee includes a two-hour consultation with one of our knowledgeable team members to outline your needs.
Project deliverables will come in the form of the project booklet after the proposal has been agreed to. The proposal will include an estimated fee based on billable hours needed to complete the project booklet which varies depending on your needs. Consultation service is billed at $250/hr.
